pixelsurgeon was our companion on our daily journeys through the net for years. now it’s over - pixelsurgeon is dead - which leaves us in some way of melancholy.
two other milestones on our journeys are changing their look and feel. newstoday becomes qbn (already missing the nice welcome jingle) and design is kinky is also on its way to relaunch.

helvetica celebrates its 50th birthday this year - and quite a lot was written about it. we like this typeface and use it pretty often - now you can get the documentary on dvd… here.

The site is chock-full of client work that reaches back 10 years, deep links for every instance, and everything you ever wanted to know about us all wrapped up in one superslick site. P.S. The new custom content management system we developed also kicks ass.

FABRICA / ANDY CAMERON, italy
andy cameron co-founded the antirom studio - an influential art and design collective - in london in 1994. in the same year he created the hypermedia research centre at the university of westminster. as a partner at antirom he led award winning interactive projects with commercial clients like levi’s and arts institutions such as sonar in barcelona and the international film festival in rotterdam.
in 2001 he was appointed visiting artist, and subsequently, creative director in interaction design at fabrica, the benetton research centre in italy set up by luciano benetton and oliviero toscani. at fabrica he is responsible for the research programme in interactive media as well as guiding benetton’s online and interactive communication strategy.
