fotb 2008 - review

fotb2008

it was our first time at flash on the beach - and YES!!! we had a great time in brighton.

we arrived with super sunshine on sunday, at the evening then meeting a lot of old friends and talking to new faces (”you have to mingle!” - thanks john for kicking our lazy ass!:-)) at the speakers dinner. the perfect start for a 3 day marathon.

during the conference - as designers - we were attending mostly the “creative” and “designer” tagged presentations: jeremy thorp, gmunk, erik natzke, rob chiu, andreas müller, james paterson, andries odendaal and jonathan harris. at night everyone met for beer and good talks at old ship hotel and some more pubs…

john davey and his crew really managed - besides handling a crowd of 1000 people - to create a warm and kind of “big family feeling” during these days - we are already looking forward to the next one in brighton or maybe even the fotb in miami which should take place april 2009.
