joshua davis is renowned for pioneering an original method of computational, generative art known as dynamic abstraction. his works won countless awards and are exhibited in museums around the globe.
besides works for clients such as motorola, bmw or amp, he is bringing his computer generated compostions into product design for umbra and miquelrius, and traveling the globe for exhibitions and conferences - current position chicago.

he’s been part of TOCA ME design conference from the very first moment. last time was back in 2005 (have a look at this) - more than 3 years - so we are very happy to welcome him back in munich!

jer thorp is an artist and educator from vancouver. his digital art practice explores the many-folded boundaries between science and art.
we suggest to check first blprnt.com, jer’s unique collection of organic flash experiments and generative artworks. have a look at plumage, treegrowth and the other projects listed there.
then go further in learning about emergence, the way complex systems and patterns arise out of simple interactions, and agent oriented programming in projects such as colour economy.

within the next weeks we will present you some more info about the speakers of the upcoming TOCA ME design conference 09.
first up: BRADLEY MUNKOWITZ aka GMUNK
bradley is the creative head behind GMUNK, a one-man production house specializing in motion graphics and based in los angeles. before getting settled he was a real design globetrotter - working for heavy in nyc, vir2l studios in europe, engine design in australia and imaginary forces in hollywood.

we had the pleasure to meet bradley at this years’ flash on the beach in brighton and have been totally blown away by his great presentation - amazing works and a lot of behind the scenes stuff.
so look forward to a full motion graphics package!
